We at Detroit Alley Cats strive to make an impact on the lives of cats and our community. Our success is measured by the number of cats that we take into our program, provide veterinary care for (spay/neuter and vaccines at the least) at one of our partnered clinics, successfully home, or release back outside.
We have been operating as a no-kill rescue since the beginning, with zero cats in our care euthanized except to end terminal suffering.
Since we began our adoptions program in June 2020, we have successfully adopted out over 500 cats to this date.
Below you will find our monthly and annual reports of our intake and outcomes, as well as our Live Release Rate calculations. These numbers only include friendly cats and kittens which we placed into our fostering program, found forever homes for, transferred to other no-kill rescues, as well as those that we lost or passed away in our care.
These numbers do not include the non-friendly cats that we trap-neuter-returned back outside, we will be publishing those numbers separately in the future.
